Arrived in Puno a few days ago, which is a city in Peru that borders Lake Titicaca. I found this town to be significantly poorer than the past few places we have stayed but still quite charming. Also it was much easier to find food and drinks for lower prices, off the beaten tourist track. The first night we went for drinks with a friend we had met on our bus ride back from Machu Picchu and the waiter let me take pictures of him creating Peru´s signature drink, the Pisco Sour. It tastes a lot like a margarita, but a little less sweet and with a frothy top made of egg whites. We spent all day Sunday at Lake Titicaca, which was gorgeous, and deserves a post of its own.
Great pictures!! Enjoying my tour of South America, keep it coming.
